Unlock That Career in ICT

The INSPIRE Conference 2025 was a career-focused initiative organized by QBIC to help young professionals navigate opportunities and challenges within the Information and Communication Technology sector.

Held in Yaoundé under the theme “Unlock That Career in ICT,” the conference brought together approximately 33 young IT professionals and experienced facilitators from different areas of the technology industry.

The event created a platform for participants to gain practical insights into building sustainable careers in technology while learning from professionals who had experienced different stages of the IT career journey.

Key sessions explored areas including:

Choosing and Building a Career in IT
Building an IT Startup
International Scholarship Opportunities for IT Professionals
IT Job Search Strategies
Becoming a Successful Software Developer

Beyond the presentations, the conference created space for meaningful interaction. Participants engaged the speakers through questions and discussions, allowing them to address career concerns and gain practical perspectives from experienced professionals.

The event also provided opportunities for peer networking, professional connections, and mentorship, enabling participants to continue developing relationships beyond the conference.

For QBIC, INSPIRE represents more than a one-day event. It reflects our belief that access to the right information, guidance, networks, and opportunities can help individuals make more informed decisions about their professional journeys.
